Happy Free Comic Book Day!

Although there is a serious health crisis, today is still Free Comic Book Day and we will just have to celebrate the day at home. So, what are some of your favorite comic books or series? I have a lot of books and I've enjoyed reading them (well at least most of them) but there are some series that I have re-read several times because they're just so much fun to read. And they are:

- Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) written by Bryan Q. Millar
- Batman & Robin (Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne) written by Grant Morrison
- Birds of Prey written by Gail Simone
- Black Widow written by Nathan Edmondson with illustrations by Phil Noto
- Captain America written by Ed Brubaker
- Gotham City Sirens written by Paul Dini, Tony Bedard and Peter Calloway with illustrations by Guillem March and other artists
- Hawkeye by Matt Fraction with illustrations by David Aja and Javier Pulido
- Red Robin by Christopher Yost with illustrations by Ramón F. Bachs and Marcus To
- Superboy written by Jeff Lemire
- Teen Titans written by Geoff Johns

I can't recommend these series enough and as for favorite books well I love reading (and re-reading) Batgirl: Year One by Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty with illustrations by Marcos Martin. Another favorite book is Robin: Year One which was also written by Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty with illustrations by Marcos Martin and Javier Pulido.

There are so many more books that I've read and enjoyed, this is only a small list of some of them. If you have a favorite book or series that you love reading and re-reading, let me know. Happy Free Comic Book Day!
