(Simon Spier Love, Victor season 1 episode 8 Boy's Trip)
In that episode, Bram made a point of telling Victor Salazar that they [Simon and Bram] couldn't afford an apartment in Brooklyn without roommates. Since both Bram and Simon parents' are mid to upper middle class, I take it their parents are probably not helping them out financially. And if they are, they are most likely paying for tuition only. I can understand their parents probably not wanting to pay for their non-tuition expenses since Simon and Bram are 20-something college sophomores and should be figuring out their finances. Which means any other expenses they have, they had to get a job to earn money. It would be interesting to see what kind of jobs they have.

Even if Bram and Simon never get a spinoff, maybe they will show up again in Love, Victor since the series has been renewed for a second season. I really enjoyed this episode especially since we were able to see more of Bram. Which is another reason why I wish there was a spinoff for these two because they're both amazing characters but Bram definitely needed a little more attention. Especially since he had more lines in this one episode of Love, Victor than he did in the movie Love, Simon. As you can see I totally love these characters and I really want to see their story continue.
