Despite being smart and prepared for the competition, she was constantly sidelined throughout most of the tournament. From being attacked by Grindylows in the second task to Barty Crouch Jr sabotaging her in the final task, she didn't really get a chance to showcase her abilities. She may not have won the Triwizard Tournament but she certainly won as the most stylish contestant. Which is why I picked her for this Fashion Meets Fandom.
In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie, she wore two different school uniforms, one was a beautiful light blue silk dress with a matching capelet and the second was a more structured light blue dress and blazer with a dark blue trim. At some other time, I will focus on her Beauxbatons uniforms but for this Fashion Meets Fandom I wanted to created an inspired outfit.
In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2, Fleur's style in those two movies (aside from her wedding dress) was casual yet still had a slightly sophisticated and polished look to it. I was inspired for this Fashion Meets Fandom to create a look with that same casual and sophisticated feel. I wanted to create an easy summer look that would look great whether she's relaxing at home with her husband Bill Weasley at Shell Cottage or visiting her in-laws at The Burrow.
I picked a simple yet cute white sweater and paired it with a flowy light blue babydoll dress. I wanted it to have that effortless chic French style vibe that Fleur has. She didn't wear a lot of accessories in the movie, I figured she went with a less is more approach to accessorizing. But you could add a bracelet or earrings to personalize the look. I think this outfit would look cute with a simple t-strap sandals, flats or wedges.
