What I hope will happen on Hunters season 2?

A new show that I really have enjoyed watching is Hunters, it's an intense and interesting series that follows a group of New York City based Nazi hunters. While the hunters were going after Nazis, who had been secretly recruited by the United States following World War II, the group stumbled upon a Nazi plot to poison people.

As soon as it was announced that Hunters was renewed for a second season, it had me thinking about what I would like to see happen in the next season.


Joe Mizushima (Louis Ozawa)

At the end of the season 1 finale, Joe had been abducted by Nazis and taken to Argentina where he was trapped not only with The Colonel but with another unspeakable horror, Adolf Hitler. I really hope the team will find out that Joe didn't just pack up and leave but was abducted. I really want him to be saved by the team or he can miraculously save himself.


Roxy Jones (Tiffany Boone)

I hope Roxy will take on a larger role within the Hunters especially now that the eight member team is down to four. I feel like there could potentially be a romance between Roxy and Joe (pending he's saved) and I would loved to see if something will be explored between them.



Jonah Heidelbaum (Logan Lerman)

Jonah has been through a lot during the first season, from his grandmother Ruth being murdered to joining the Hunters and not to mention one of his best friends Arthur McGuigan was murdered, his world was turned upside down. Although, Jonah is a genius, he couldn't afford to go to college, so he's using his intelligence and newfound skills to help the Hunters further the team's goal of stopping Nazis. Similar to Roxy, I hope Jonah will take on a larger role within the team. He's certainly an unexpected ace being able to uncover secret codes and find hidden patterns.



Carol Lockhart (Ebony Obsidian)

I hope in the second season that Carol will become a main character. She's one of Jonah's best friends and as inquisitive as she is, I don't want her to become a Hunter. I want her to focus on going college but I figure that's not going to make her stop worrying about Jonah.

In the first episode, you can see that Jonah has a huge crush on Carol who unfortunately in that episode had an awful boyfriend (thankfully she eventually dumped him). These two have been best friends since they were kids and you can tell that she really cares about him and is really worried about whatever trouble she believes he may have gotten himself into.

However, as a way to keep Carol safe, Jonah pushed her away by being rude and mean. But that didn't stop Carol from wanting to help him. What I want from the second season would be for a romantic relationship to happen between them at some point. They have really good chemistry and definitely care about each other, so it would be easy for their friendship to become something more. Also, Jonah really should apologize to Carol because although he was trying to protector her, he was still being a jerk.



Sister Harriet (Kate Mulvany)

I really want to know what Sister Harriet is up to because although she's part of the Hunters she also working with another organization. I also want to know the real reason why she wants the newly condensed team to travel out of the country to find Nazis. And who does she really want them to go after? So it will be interesting to see if any of her secrets will be revealed in the second season.



Lonny Flash (Josh Radnor)

Lonny surprised me because at first he seemed like he would be nothing more than comedic relief but since he's a former actor he works pretty well under pressure. I'm not sure what I want to happen for him in the second season just that he continues to stay sober and continue to fight.



Mindy Markowitz (Carol Kane)

In the first season finale, it was stated that Mindy was leaving the team which I can understand since her husband Murray died trying to defuse one of the Nazis' bombs. According to the team, she plans to spend more time with her family, however, I do hope that Mindy will make an appearance on the show every now and then. Especially since she's a tech expert and could maybe help the team when they may require a little tech help.



Millie Morris (Jerrika Hinton)

I wonder if Millie will quit her job as an FBI agent to join a Congresswoman's Nazi Hunter task force. I do hope that if the Hunters don't save Joe that this new team that Millie may be involved in will. I also hope that Millie will eventually get back together with her girlfriend Maria De La Ruiz (Julissa Bermudez) because similar to Jonah, Millie wanted to keep Maria safe so she broke up with her. Millie was afraid that the more she investigated that the Nazis would go after the people she loved especially after she was threatened. I also want Millie to find out what happened to Florida Police Detective Sommers and his family, the official word is that he took vacation time since his wife was pregnant. However, more than likely they were murdered by Nazi hitman Travis Leich (Greg Austin), who she was able to arrest for the murder of Jonah's friend Arthur.


I'm really looking forward to seeing what will happen on Hunters second season, I just wish I didn't have to wait. If you watch the show, I would love to know what you hope will happen, please let me know. I'd love to hear it.
