Weekend Films: Finding 'Ohana and Snowkissed

Sometimes, I find myself missing going to the movies, which I would either go by myself or with family or friends. I miss the experience of watching a movie on the big screen. But then I realize that at the moment there is no way I want to sit in any theater with an ongoing pandemic raging throughout the country. Thankfully, new movies continue to be released and we can enjoy them all from the comfort of home.

I love just being at home comfy and cozy sitting on the sofa with a big bowl of popcorn watching as many of the new movies as I can such as Sylvie's Love (Amazon), Wonder Woman 1984 (HBO Max), Love and Monsters (VoD), We Can Be Heroes (Netflix), Outside the Wire (Netflix), Hallmark and Up TV movies and so many more.

This Saturday there are two new movies, I'm going to watch: Finding 'Ohana and Snowkissed. Finding 'Ohana looks like a really cool adventure film that feels like a cross between The Goonies and Indiana Jones (coincidentally Ke Huy Quan appears not only in these two movies but also in Finding 'Ohana). And Snowkissed feels like a typical yet fun and romantic Hallmark movie. I can't wait to watch both movies today, I just have to make a little popcorn to go with it.
