What's the last book you re-read?

It should come to no surprise that I'm experiencing a reading slump well was which is thankfully over after reading an old favorite Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J. K. Rowling. Re-reading this story was exactly what I needed because getting to delve back into the story and following Harry's first journey into the wizarding world was just as exciting as the first time I read it.

This is still a spellbinding story (no pun intended) that immediately pulls you into the story and engages your imagination. I loved seeing Harry meet Rebeus Hagrid, the legendary gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts and finding out that he was no ordinary kid but a wizard. It always made me mad that Harry's Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon and Cousin Dudley never let him forget that he wasn't truly a member of their family. That the only "cared" for him due to an obligation and certainly not love. Which is why I was so happy when he not only met Hagrid but also Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. It might have taken a little while for Harry and Ron to become friends with Hermione but once it was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

I'm glad I decided to re-read the first Harry Potter book because it really helped to get me out of my reading slump. I'm happy say that I'm almost finished reading Star Wars: Lost Tribe of the Sith by John Jackson Miller and should have my review up this week.
