Fashion Meets Fandom: Aisha Campbell (Power Rangers)

When I think of the original Power Rangers, I immediately think of low-key cute and comfortable 90s fashion. Since the Power Rangers are usually balancing being teenagers and being heroes, their clothes always seem to be comfy yet stylish. In the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie, Aisha Campbell, the Yellow Ranger wore a white crop hooded sweatshirt with yellow accents paired with yellow shorts.

It's a casual and easy going summer look that's slightly sporty and I thought it would be great for a Fashion Meets Fandom post.

What I like about Aisha's outfit, it's casual chic. It's so effortless and laid-back but it's still cute and fashionable. The slight volume of the crop sweatshirt strikes the perfect balance with the fitted denim shorts.

As with all the Power Rangers, Aisha wore clothes in her signature color. And with yellow being such a fun and summery vibrant color, I feel like it brightens your day just from looking at it.

I was inspired to recreate Aisha's outfit but I did have a little difficulty finding a white crop sweatshirt. So, I included two. The first is a white hooded sweatshirt while the second is a crop hooded sweatshirt but it's a light heather gray that almost looks white. Either one would go great with the yellow denim shorts I found.
