Entertainment News #5: Avatar: TLA casting, Harry Potter Special, Hawkeye clip and more

- In some good casting news, actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee has been cast as Uncle Iroh in the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender Netflix series. The cast also includes Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai. I think Paul Sun-Hyung Lee will do an amazing job as Iroh, the kind-hearted, tea drinking yet fierce character. Side note, he's also a fellow geek, he has a Youtube channel Bitterasiandude Inc., where he shows off some of his his geeky finds.

- A new Harry Potter special, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will premiere Saturday, January 1, 2022 on HBO Max. The special is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. It will feature Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson who will join director Chris Columbus and other Harry Potter cast members such as Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch and Ian Hart.

- Marvel released a new clip from the upcoming Hawkeye TV series which will premiere Wednesday, November 24th. And it looks like Hawkeye is being overshadowed by another pop culture character, I can't wait to see this show. I really hope it's going to be good.

- It's being reported that Levar Burton will host a new Trivial Pursuit TV game show. The show will be produced by game maker Hasbro and Entertainment One. So far, what TV network it will appear on has been announced. Levar Burton who is a known bookworm is a fan favorite and hopefully it will be a fun and interesting game show.

- I can't believe I forgot to post the teaser trailer the the Sex and the City revival series And Just Like That. According the show's description, it will follow Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes and Charlotte York Goldenblatt as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s. I was wondering how the show was going to be and the teaser trailer does give a little insight. But maybe once HBO releases the full trailer fans will get an even better look at the upcoming series.
