Book Girl Thoughts: I'll be Including more TV Show Reviews and Discussion Topics

With so many announcements of shows being cancelled, I know it's disappointing as a fan to see your favorite shows abruptly cut and not getting a proper ending. It's also disappointing knowing that so many people who worked for these shows have now lost their jobs. We as viewers can easily find other shows to watch but now all those people have go out there and find another job. I really can't believe they cancelled so many shows, at some point these executives need to realize that shows are not going to get the big ratings that shows used to get. Especially not with so many different shows, channels, streaming services, etc. available to watch. The average ratings that most shows get are between 2-5 million viewers and in this current age of an abundance of shows, that's still a pretty good thing to have at least that many viewers are tuning in.

As someone who loves watching shows and getting immersed in all the different stories and characters, I want to include more reviews and discussion topics on Book Girl (that are not just 9-1-1, I really love that show). With such an abundance of shows out there (be it new or old) I want to focus on highlighting or promoting some of the ones that I enjoy watching or find interesting. As well as shows that just need a little more attention. Don't worry Book Girl will still focus on books because although this now geeky lifestyle blog started out as a book blog, I'll never stop talking about books and I'll also be including more reviews.

As a TV fan, bookworm, comic book fan, etc., let me know what you think of Book Girl, you can leave a comment on this post or by sending an email at BookGirlLoveofReading@gmail.com.
