Monday Motivation: Don't Feel Pressure to Read a Certain Way

In the book community, sometimes I feel like some readers feel pressure to read more books, to read faster (to read more books) or to read books that it seems that everyone else is reading. There should be no pressure, reading is however you make it. I love to read because I enjoy reading whatever books that interest me and I feel like no one should feel pressure whether it's from themselves or from others (or the perception of others) to read a certain way.

There is no set speed, number of books to read or time of day to read. There is no set anything in regards to reading. Whether you're a bookworm or the occasional reader, that's fine. If the only time you can read is during your lunch break or on the weekend, then so be it. If you prefer to start your day out reading or rather read at night then that's perfect. If you only read a certain genre or you read any genre that interest you, that's also perfect. Whether you read daily or whenever you get a chance, that's absolutely fine. Whether you like to set reading goals or none at all, do whatever makes you happy.

My point is, I really don't want anyone to feel pressure or stressed in how they read.
