- I guess there's some continuation to the Henry Cavill news from yesterday (Entertainment News #14), he is planning to star in and produce the Warhammer 40,000 TV series that will air on Amazon. I guess as the old saying goes "every cloud has a silver lining" because he may have lost out on continuing to play Superman but now he will be creating his own project. I don't know anything about Warhammer 40,000, so I did a little research and found out it's a rather popular tabletop miniature wargame. It will be interesting to see how this will be turned into, I'm assuming, a live action TV series.
In a message he posted on Instagram, he wrote:
For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action. Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life. Partnering with Natalie Viscuso at Vertigo has been a blessing beyond words, without her we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon. And having a home like Amazon will give us the freedom to be true to the massive scope of Warhammer. To all of you Warhammer fans out there, I promise to respect this IP that we love. I promise to bring you something familiar. And I endeavour to bring you something fantastic that is, as of yet, unseen.
Our first steps are to find our Filmmaker/Creator/Writer. Watch this space, my friends.

- Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy is yet another TV series to add to the ever growing list of cancelled shows. The travel and food show has been cancelled after two seasons on CNN but actor and foodie Stanley Tucci hopes to take his series to another network or streaming service.
- Jordan E. Cooper is trying to save his Broadway play Ain't No Mo' that he stars in, produced and wrote. Although the play had received really good reviews, attendance has been low and was issued a close notice only a week after it opened. Ain't No Mo' is a satire about modern African-American life in the United States.
Cooper wrote an open letter in hopes of launching a campaign to save his play:
We need all hands on deck with urgency. In the name of art, in the name of resistance, in the name of we belong here too, in the name of every storytelling ancestor who ever graced a Broadway stage or was told they never could, BUY A TICKET and come have church with us. Radical Black work belongs on Broadway too.
Many stars such Queen Latifah, Kendrick Sampson, Shonda Rhimes, Will and Jada Smith, Tyler Perry, Sara Ramirez and Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade (who are also producers of the play) have been showing their support which also includes some buying out performances. That along with play goers buying tickets to see the play, here's hoping that all of this will be able to save the play. There is some good news because as of this moment, the play has been extended for another week and will now run until Friday, December 23rd at the Belasco Theatre.
