- Netflix renews Wednesday for a second season. The executives at the streaming service have cancelled so many shows after the first season and most recently with the show 1899, that it's surprising when you hear about a Netflix show being renewed. Wednesday is an interesting show but there are aspects of the show I hope will be improved for the second season such as not trying to force a romance for Wednesday Addams with two guys she has no chemistry with. Although, Wednesday has more chemistry with Enid Sinclair, I doubt the writers will put the two together.
- CBS renews Fire Country for a second season. I haven't watched this show because at the moment I've hit my limit on firefighter shows but I'm happy for the fans that are watching and that their show has been renewed.
- AMC cancels the TV series 61st Street after the first season. And due to the network implementing budget cuts, AMC will not even air the second season which apparently was already filmed. This feels like the same thing the Warner Bros. Discovery executives did with HBO Max by issuing a lot of cuts and cancelations along with shows and movies being removed from the streaming service.
- For the second season of the Showtime TV series Yellowjackets, Nicole Maines, François Arnaud and Nia Sondaya have been added to the show in recurring roles. According to reports, Nicole Maines will be Lisa, an associate of the adult version of Lottie, who is trying to recover from past trauma. François Arnaud, will be Paul, who is described as a New York writer and secret boyfriend of Coach Scott. And Nia Sondaya has been recast for the teen version of Akilah.
- It's being reported that 9-1-1: Lone Star season four premiere date is being pushed backed a week. So, instead of originally airing on Tuesday, January 17 it will now air on Tuesday, January 24th at 8:00 PM EST on Fox.
