Monday Motivation: Stop Digital Distractions

If you have a difficult time trying to concentrate while you're working or trying to relax because of the constant buzzing and pinging from your phone. You might want to think about ditching the distractions. Not only is the noise distracting but constantly checking your phone can also cause a bit of stress and anxiety. You're not giving all your focus and attention to your task or relaxing. A simple solution is to turn off any alerts that are not important for an hour or until you've finished your task, project or relaxing. Then you can look back at any of the alerts later. By doing this you can control your time and not let the constant alerts distract you. Plus, it will give you a chance to really focus on whatever you're doing.
