I figured we could all use a good laugh and there's nothing funnier than the classic TV Series Green Acres. Here's a scene from the episode His Honor (season 2 episode 16) that starts with farmhand Eb Dawson having a really difficult time with the Douglas' tractor. And becomes even more ridiculous when you see what Lisa Douglas was cooking, Hots Kabobs. She really got a lot of weird and unnecessary mileage out of that hotscake batter. Lisa really couldn't cook but in her defense, when her and her husband Oliver Wendell Douglas used to live in New York City, they lived in a penthouse apartment and probably had a personal chef as well as went out to eat all the time. So she had no need or desire to cook and it's not like Oliver could cook either (if I recall).
I really do love watching this old show because it's just so kooky and weird from the characters to the town itself. It really does make you wonder if Hooterville is in some sort of twilight zone because everyone in that town is just so loony. I also can't believe Oliver is supposed to be this big time lawyer yet he bought that rundown farm from Mr. Haney. And not to mention, Oliver was always being scammed by Mr. Haney into buying equipment and other things that never really worked. I love finding old shows to watch and Green Acres is one of the funniest.
