It's the 100th day of the Writers' Strike!

Today is the 100th day of the Writers' Strike and the writers are continuing to fight for a fair deal. Hopefully the AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers) will finally be ready to start negotiating because to me it truly feels like a bad business decision (and a power trip) of letting this strike continue. I guess those executives are willing to waste time and money instead of offering the writers and actors good and fair deals to get the industry running again.

As someone who loves watching shows and movies, I know it takes a lot of creativity and good ideas to create the media we love to watch. Yeah, not everything is a hit but that doesn't mean time, effort and imagination still didn't go into creating it. I very much support the writers (and actors) in getting better contracts. Because we wouldn't have any of our favorite shows and movies without them.
