Entertainment News #35: Shelved Movie, Cancelled Show and Sesame Street

- Warner Bros. Discovery has announced that the movie Coyote Vs. ACME has been shelved entirely and is no longer being released despite being completed. All for a $30 million tax write off. Why does the CEO David Zaslav even work in the entertainment industry? Because it doesn't seem like he cares about the movies and shows that are being created or see in value in them. That is other than the large paycheck and bonuses he receives.

- ABC cancels The Rookie: Feds after the first season. The renewal decision for the show was undecided before the Writers' and Actors' Strikes but I guess network executives decided to wait until afterwards to announce the show was cancelled. That's disappointing because the show was cancelled before really getting a chance to find an audience. I hope all the crew and actors will find other jobs.

- It's the 54th Anniversary of Sesame Street. Wow, I can't believe the show has been around that long. I remember watching this show as little kids. The educational show was created as a fun early learning teaching tool to help children with learn the alphabet, words, numbers, math, social skills and so much more. Happy Anniversary Sesame Street!
