Christmas Countdown Day #11: Santa's Gift of Family (The Jeffersons)

In The Jeffersons episode All I Want for Christmas (season 7 episode 8), George Jefferson dressed up as Santa Clause for the Help Center's Christmas party for orphan children. George had such a wonderful time playing Santa that he wanted to gift all the kids whatever they wanted. The problem was that one kid, Billy wanted parents for Christmas. However, George didn't find out what Billy wanted until after he promised to get him what he wanted.

George tried his best to get Billy adopted. But the unfortunate problem is that the older children are, the harder it is for them to get adopted. George even thought him and his wife Louise could adopt Billy but due to their age they wouldn't have been able to adopt him. Despite the disappointing outcome of Billy not getting adopted, George was able to give Billy a new perspective on family. Because all the kids at the orphanage look up to him and already see him as a big brother, he just didn't realize it. Billy may or may not ever get adopted but he already had a family that loves him.
