Entertainment News #46: Station 19 Billboard, Survival of the Thickest and The Fantastic Four

Happy Valentine's Day and here is some Entertainment News:

- The Save Station 19 fan campaign has another billboard in Time Square, this time to promote Station 19's seventh season (since ABC doesn't seem to want to do it) and the new time change. And according to the campaign, the billboard will be displayed on the 10th and 38th minutes of each hour throughout the day. I truly commend the fans for their tireless fight for the show. I really want another network or streaming service to pick up this show because there is a very loyal fan base already built in who would support the move.

- Netflix has renewed Survival of the Thickest for a second season. It's good to see this show didn't get cancelled because the show turned out to be a fun watch. It has comedy, drama, friendship, romance and fashion. This TV series has everything a good romantic comedy should have as it follows Mavis who after a devastating heartbreak decides to pursue her dreams in the fashion industry. I watched this around the same time I watched another Netflix show, Glamorous (it was a fun watch that's set in the beauty industry) which unfortunately was cancelled. I'm happy to see at least one of the shows was renewed. I can't wait to see what will happen in the second season of Survival of the Thickest.

- Marvel casually announced the main characters for the upcoming The Fantastic Four movie in a illustrated Valentine's Day poster by Wesley Burt. Below is a cropped version of the poster. The movie will be directed by Matt Shakman and starring Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. The Fantastic Four will be in theatres July 25, 2025. This looks like a good cast, I just hope this Fantastic Four movie will have a better story than the last one.
