Station 19 Petition Update (+ a video that shows the Importance of the show)

I love watching and writing about TV shows and I know not every show will last. But it's just something so disheartening that Station 19 was cancelled. It's disappointing because as soon as it was announced that ABC had saved 9-1-1 after it was cancelled by FOX, I had a bad feeling that Station 19 would be cancelled. I was hoping I was wrong. As a big fan of both shows, I truly believe Station 19 didn't need to be cancelled because both shows could co-exist on the network. Especially since they are two very different shows that are certainly not interchangeable.

Which is why Station 19 fans are trying to save the show. With that said here is the latest update on the petition as of now it has over 71,000 signatures and counting. Fans are hoping that another network or streaming service will pick up the series.

This show is very important to a lot of fans and this beautifully well-made video by cam (Twitter: scrofantastic) really showcases why and how this show has impacted fans and viewers. Station 19 is such a diverse show that doesn't shy away from focusing on social issues and how it not only impacts the lives of the characters but the world in general. Which is why it continues to frustrate me that ABC cancelled Station 19 while at the same time continues to have that transphobic actress on 9-1-1.

Just as a reminder, Station 19's seventh season will premiere on Wednesday, March 14 at the new time of 10:00 PM EST on ABC.
