What's On Tonight: S.W.A.T.

In last week's episode, I don't feel like that's the end for David "Deacon" Kay. His ending felt unfinished. I could be wrong but with the way he left without saying goodbye to anyone and just leaving his badge in his locker. Because prior to that, he seemed like he was becoming overwhelmed with emotions and saying goodbye would just be too much for him at the time. Which I feel like (or at least I hope) means he will return for an episode (or more) to close out his story if he really isn't returning or un-retiring.

Now for tonight's episode, I know the writers want to give Victor "Tan" Tan a new love interest but why the reporter, Olivia Navarro? There was no chemistry between Olivia and Tan when she was first introduced in the episode Family Man (season 7 episode 8). I guess the writers are going to try to further their connection in tonight's episode with them attending a black-tie event. I was hoping that if he was going to get a new love interest it would be fellow S.W.A.T. officer Alexis Cabrera. But I guess that's probably not going to happen.

Anyway, still looking forward to watching tonight's episode.
