This past eighth season surprisingly wasn't too bad and traumatic for Hen and Karen as previous seasons, the Showrunner and writers actually squeezed in a few happy moments along with a few dramatic ones. And although I wish this scene was longer, it was nice that Hen and Karen finally added to their family (which already includes their son Denny) by adopting Mara Driskell in the season finale. I do wish the writers had actually focused on the adoption story throughout the season so it didn't just feel like a nice little tacked on moment to close out the season.
What I like about Karen and Hen's relationship is that it has continued to grow with so much love. They have been through a lot and as cliché as it sounds their love has carried them through. With that said, Happy Pride Month, Hen and Karen Wilson.
