I just finished a month long reading break and now I'm ready to get back to reading my books. Before I took my break, I didn't start reading Velvet volume #3 by Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting and Elizabeth Breitweiser but I will. I didn't quite feel like reading a thriller just yet. I was looking for something different and I after searching through my bookcase I found this fantasy mystery book The Library of the Dead by T.L. Huchu. The description seems really interesting with Ropa trying to find out what's happening to some of the children in her city. I wonder if she will figure it in time, I can't wait to start reading this.

Book: The Library of the Dead (Edinburgh Nights book #1) by T.L. Huchu
Description:
Ropa dropped out of school to become a ghostalker. Now she speaks to Edinburgh's dead, carrying messages to the living. A girl's gotta earn a living, and it seems harmless enough. Until, that is, the dead begin to whisper that someone's bewitching children--leaving them husks, empty of joy and life. It's in Ropa's city, so she feels honor-bound to investigate. But what she learns will change her world.
She'll dice with death (not part of her life plan), discovering an occult library and a taste for hidden magic. She'll also experience dark times. For Edinburgh hides a wealth of secrets, and Ropa's gonna hunt them all down.
