Happy Winter Solstice! (+ a Geeky Winter List)

I want to wish everyone a very happy Winter Solstice. It's the shortest day and the longest night of the year and start of the winter season. I like celebrating this day because it's a great way to think about nature and how your life is going.

Besides taking time to think, I'm going to cozy up on the couch with a hot cup of tea and watch a few wintery movies and a few TV show. By the way, I also included my list below and for more wintery shows and movies, check out my list from last year.

Winter has officially started and what better way to kick off the day than with a picture of the Winter Soldier.

Are you planning on celebrating the day? Celebrations aside many also use the Winter Solstice as a way to celebrate nature, reflect on ones life and gain inner peace. With that said I plan to take a walk outside and enjoy nature and maybe later today I'll light a candle, drink a warm cup of tea while watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier. You knew I was going to say that right.
