Frank is a former police officer who was fired after he uncovered corruption within the force. Now as an animal control officer, he seems to be cynical and prefers to work alone, however, he got a new partner Fred "Shred". Shred is a former snowboard champion and is trying to learn everything he can about being an animal control officer. He's also trying to be a good partner to Frank and sort of win him over. But Frank is not interested at all and he's trying his best to get rid of Shred. It's easy to see that they're an odd couple, the cynical experienced one partnered with the wide-eyed newbie. As the episode moved along you can see Frank really trying to get rid of Shred and the ostrich emergency worked out in his favor. Because Shred was so mad that he wanted to transfer to a different station. What I like is that after that Frank sort of started to let down his guard and you could see that having Shred as a partner wouldn't be such a bad idea. I think these two are going to work out pretty well together.
