Review:

In this second book, aspiring reporter Samantha with some assistance from her best friend (and computer genius) Makayla, attempt to find out who is bullying their classmate Nikki Cole. Nikki had been receiving mean texts and various notes but was hoping that it would all go away. However, Sam didn't think the bully would just stop and she wanted to help find who it was. So, Sam decided to look into the mystery.

While Sam was attempting to uncover the bully, she was also writing a series of articles on bullying for the school newpaper's blog. She wanted to bring more attention and awareness to the students about how wrong and illegal bullying was.

As she was trying to find clues, Sam wondered if she can put her feelings about Nikki aside to help find the bully. Nikki is considered to be one of the mean girls at school and hangs out with the popular and extreme mean girl Aubrey. However, since Nikki is going through a family crisis (her parents were separating and possibly divorcing), Sam felt sorry for her and really wanted to help stop the bully.

Sam had found quite a few suspects for the possible bully including Nikki's best friend Aubrey who is also the editor of the school paper. A question that Sam was really wondering about was: Why was Nikki being bullied?

Sam does her best to try to find the bully including getting herself at trouble at school with the Principal for not revealing her sources. Which created a little tension at home with her parents.

As she continued with the mystery, Sam was also dealing with a family issue that concerned her mom.

I thought this was good and the author has a good way of keeping the mystery interesting. I enjoyed trying to figure out who was behind the bullying.

Since this is faith based story, it might not interest some readers but the story is very well written and characters are colorful and engaging. And lastly, like the first book, this one also includes discussion questions at the end of the book.
