Review:

In this sci-fi fantasy adventure, the Cult of Cobra is trying to unleash an ancient evil upon the world. And it's up to a handful of people to stop them. The team includes Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Mandrake the Magician, Lothar, Karma, Dale Arden and Professor Zarkov. And they use all of their strengths and skills to keep the Earth from being invaded.

The story opens with nearly everyone in the world experiencing strange dreams and the world's sky is being inhabited by strange lights. That's not the only thing, strange creatures have started to appear in the jungles. It wasn't until Lothar was giving a safari tour that one of those strange creatures attacked with The Phantom to their rescue.

Meanwhile in New York, reporter Dale Arden was trying figure out if there was a way she could figure out if the strange lights could be tracked.

Flash Gordon and Professor Zarkov plan to take a trip out to space to see if they can get a reading on the lights.

It wasn't until Dale went to interview Flash that they stumbled into Cobra's plan.

This fast moving action packed story feel like you're watching one of those old sci-fi movies. These were an amazing group of characters who were fighting to save the Earth. And even though this is set during the modern times it has a nice retro feel to it. I like the story, it was a fun read and very entertaining and the artwork is very cool.
