Review:

Two volumes in and I think I love this series even more. There are mysteries and conspiracies woven throughout and nothing is truly what it seems. While some of the mysteries have started to be revealed more of them are just getting started. I think this is a fascinating read.

This second volume opens with Elle's spirit still occupying the body of ten years old Katie Lawrence. In the spirit world Elle found out how Katie died and planned to help find her killer. If only she can get her best friend Jo to believe that Katie is really her.

Convincing Jo may have been the easy part because everything else that follows is one twist after another. What are Elle's parents really up to? Who is the Fifth and what do they want with Elle? Can Jo and Dane trust Elle's brother Eddie?

This is such a well-written group of issues because the mystery doesn't feel like it's being made up on the spot but instead pretty thought out. I can see many of the puzzle pieces are started to fit together and the clues that are reveal are leading to something very dangerous.

I love a good mystery that's a bit of a mind trip. I'm really looking forward to reading volume #3.
