Fatality is an interesting character. She is currently a Star Sapphire Corp member but has fought against the Green Lanterns for the destruction of her planet Xanshi. Her home world was accidentally destroyed by GL John Stewart. She tried to seek her revenge but eventually came to terms with her loss.
She is like a lot of other comic book characters where you can't truly say they are a bad person because she was full of sadness and rage for the loss of her family and the people of her planet but she was able to forgive. Which is probably one of the hardest things to do.
She is also featured in the New 52 Green Lantern: New Guardian series (I'll post a review soon).
