Illustration of the Day: Bookstore and Iced Coffee

Illustration: Who's Down by Brittany Frost Designs

Happy Tuesday!

How cute is this? Just change that iced coffee to iced tea and I would definitely be up for going to the bookstore.

As a way to support artists, I try to post links to their stores if they have one. You can purchase some various art from the artist's accounts: Brittany Frost Design (Etsy) and Brittany Frost Design (Zazzle).

This is interesting because Eddie what is your type? I have a guess and it's the person you're walking next to. It's so going to be worth it when Eddie finally gets his coming out story. I can't wait for it to happen. I know Buck will be just as supportive as Eddie was when Buck came out to him as being Bisexual.

I had a song stuck in my head the other day and then it was finally gone. I don't know why the brain holds on to songs.

Also, as a way to support artists, I try to post links to their stores. You can purchase books, mugs, plushies and more from The Awkward Yeti website.

I totally get this, sometimes we just don't want to listen to our brains and all that rational thinking. We just want to follow our heart which can be a good thing but not always.

Illustration of the Day: Online Arguments

Illustration: The Online Arguments by Ellis Rosen

Every now and then, I like having a friendly discussion with other fans online but I don't like arguing with anyone whose only purpose is starting fights. But yeah, some discussions can be more interesting than the actual book, movie, show, etc.

As a way to support artists, I try to post links to their stores or accounts if they have one. You can purchase this illustration and more from Ellis Rosen's account from the Condé Nast Store.

Happy Cyber Monday! I hope you're finding a lot of good sales. But you want to be careful because as the old saying goes "if it's too good to be true then it probably is". And also, beware of scams.

Have you guys found any good sales for Black Friday? I saw a few things at my local book store. I might go back and get them, I'll see. I also saw a few other things that would be perfect for gifts. If I don't buy them today then I'll get them another time.

Illustration: Complicated Feelings by kon (mrkgrl)

I still can't believe Teen Wolf: The Movie implied Derek Hale had "romantic feelings" about Stiles but used Stiles' Jeep as the metaphor for it. Which is why I think this comic is so funny with Derek having complicated feelings about the Jeep.

Illustration of the Day: Unfinished Books

Illustration: Unfinished Books by Ellis Rosen

For me the sign on the last bookcase would state "Books You Still Haven't Read Yet". Since I have a lot of those. However, I don't have a problem not finishing a book if I'm not enjoying it or a reader's block makes it impossible to finish reading.

If anyone is interested, this is available to buy from the artist at Society6. To support artists, I try to post links to their stores or accounts if they have one.

This is so like cats because my cat will knock things over for absolutely no reason as well. If anyone is interested, this illustration is available to buy from the artist at Safely Endangered. Illustration of the Day: What is a Real Book?

Illustration: What is a Real Book? by Tom Gauld

I never understood the complaints against digital, audio and comic books/graphic novels, they're all books. There really is no one way to read. It doesn't matter if you like hardcover or paperback, fiction or non-fiction; digital, audio or print, all that matters is that you enjoy what you're reading.
