Pilot Scoop: Harry Potter Pal Rupert Grint to Star in CBS Comedy Super Clyde
by Kimberly Roots
Apparently, all a degree from Hogwarts gets you is a career in the fast food industry.
Rupert Grint, best known as young wizard Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, will play the lead burger-flipper in CBS’ comedy pilot Super Clyde, TVLine has learned.
The single-camera project from Raising Hope writer/EP Greg Garcia follows a meek fast food worker who decides to become a super hero.
Clyde is one of a pair of pilots Garcia has with the Eye Network; the other is an untitled multi-cam about a recently divorced man living with his parents.
In addition to playing Ron in the eight Potter films, Grint lent his voice to a 2012 episode of American Dad!.

The show seems like it will be funny. A guy who works in fast food wanting to become a super hero. I am definitely going to give it try. Hopefully the show works out for him.
