Sunday Summary: Feb 17th

Sunday evening, back from a rather nice shopping trip.

I stopped by the comic book store to pick up a big order of comic books. I made sure I got all the current Smallville and Superman Family Adventures (the series has been canceled the #12 will be the last) and I got the last four issues of Blue Beetle (another series that was canceled). I have basically a huge stack of comics which I'll try to read throughout the week.

This weekend I also bought a couple of books "Matilda" by Roald Dahl, "True Whit" by Whitney Port (it's was in the bargain bin) and "Teen Titans: Life and Death" pre-new52 (trade). My goal is to read as many of Roald Dahl's books that I can. I have seen so many of the movies based on his books that now I would like to read them all.

My mother gave me another book, "Baby Proof" by Emily Giffin. I'll post the description this week. I'm nearly finished with "The Lost Hero" and should have a review up some time this week.

I have so many books on my shelves, I think I'm going to take a little buying break well at least until April. That's when the new Avatar: TLA book will be available. I still need to read Avatar: The Promise trilogy.
