Disney Unveils Big Hero 6 Footage
Marvel meets anime

Written by James White

Winnie The Pooh director (and avowed comic book fan) Don Hall aboard, the film will adapt the Big Hero 6 stories created for Marvel by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau.
Our protagonist in this case is brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion – a robot named Baymax – Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.

Hall and his team have been hard at work on this one, which is set to hit US cinemas on November 7, 2014 and then our own screens at some point after that. The results can be seen in the nifty footage above and some gorgeous concept art, which you can view with your peepers below.
