Comic Book Wednesday: 7 books I want to read: Fearless Defenders, Batman, Smallville and more

There are more books on my pull list but these are ones I have a bit more interest in reading. Although I didn't featured it, I'm thinking about picking up Green Lantern Corps issue #20.

Book: The Fearless Defenders issue #4

Description:

Come for the banter, stay for the surprises! Everything Valkyrie knows about her origin is wrong! And Caroline LeFay unleashes her Doom Maidens upon the world!
----

This is a great series and it's also pretty funny. Is anyone else reading this?

Book: Batman issue #20

Description:

A strange visitor comes to Gotham City when tragedy delivers the team-up you’ve been asking for since the start of The New 52!
-----

I have no idea who the visitor will be in this issue and I really don't care. I just want a good story to read.

Book: Batman: Arkham Unhinged issue #14

Description:

Based on the hit videogame Batman: Arkham City! In this issue, learn about Batman’s relationship with Talia al Ghul before the events of Arkham City! But what is the purpose of Talia’s surprise appearance at Bruce Wayne’s speaking engagement…in Metropolis?
----

I like this series because you get more stories focusing on the characters from the game. I don't think you had to have played to game to enjoy this. The stories are easy to follow along without leaving the reader confused.

Book: Smallville Season 11 issue #13

Description:

An all-new episode begins with “Argo” part 1 of 3! Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes try to stop war between Earth and a shocking enemy! Plus, a glitch in Booster Gold’s Legion flight ring propels the “Gold Standard,” his trusty robot Skeets and The Man of Steel into the 31st century.
-----

This series continues to be good and now they are bring back Booster Gold. This will probably be the first book I read when I get my comics.

Book: Justice League of America issue #3

Description:

A new Secret Society is forming — but which of its members has the power to attack the Justice League from within?
-----

I'm going to take a guess and say it's probably a mind controlled Catwoman since she's the only one not shown on the cover plus that looks like her whip around Green Arrows neck.

Book: Katana issue #4

Description:

Devastated by the horrifying aftermath of last issue’s battle with Killer Croc, Katana struggles to set things right against impossible odds!
-----

I really hope Katana doesn't get canceled, there still doesn't seem to be a lot of readers giving this awesome book a chance. I wish they would. I've been enjoying it.

Book: Superboy issue #20

Description:

“BLOOD AND STEEL” begins as The Teen of Steel decides it’s time to become more proactive in his battle against evil. But how far will he go before he crossed the line?
-----

I dropped Teen Titans but I'm still holding out that Superboy will get better. Hopefully this new arc will turn the book around.
