Review:

The story is about an evil wizard Slowin who stole his young apprentice Bee's magic. Which resulted in magic being transformed into something more dangerous and unbalanced. Leaving Bee and group of others to try to stop Slowin.

I was torn between giving this book 3 or 4 stars. I thought this was good but the constant switching from multiple characters point of view (sometimes even during the middle of a chapter) really made the story feel a little disjointed and broke up the flow of the book. It's well written but some times there were things just didn't seem that clear.

This was a fast paced and rather exciting story but at times it just felt like something was missing or could have been fleshed out better. I also thought the story could have used a bit more detail and description in some areas. I did enjoy reading this and found a lot of the characters interesting, I just wish there had been more backstory given to the reader about some of them. Other wise the characters didn't seem really developed.

There are some scenes that maybe squeamish to younger readers but they should find the fast paced fantasy tale worth reading. It ended with sort of a cliffhanger but nothing that would stop this from being a completed story. There's also an additional short story following the ending.

Overall, I would say this is a good story.
