Comic Book Wednesday: 13 books on my to read list

I was going to add Batman and Two-Face #24 to the list but once I read that Carrie Kelley was included I decided to pass on that issue. She is such an annoying character. I really wish Damian Wayne was back as Robin (hurry up and bring him back DC).

Anyway, comic book rant over, here is my reading list:

Boom! Studios

Book: Imagine Agents #1 (of 4)

Description:

WHY WE LOVE IT: Brian Joines' story is one of wit, originality, and heart, complemented by imaginative and loveable art by Bachan.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE IT: Big action and bigger fun in the vein of Men in Black and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, with a dash of Chew. WHAT IT'S ABOUT: Ever try to wrangle an illiterate, 30-foot tall rock monster away from his 5-year-old best friend? Or calm down a 400 pound muscle-man rag-doll during her daily temper-tantrum? For Dave and Terry, it's all in a day's work. As agents for I.M.A.G.I.N.E., they are responsible for keeping your imaginary friends in-line... Little do they know that six-year-old Elliot and his best bear-friend, Furdlgurr, are about to be entangled in a plan to change everything!
----

Does that agent (the one wearing sunglasses) remind anyone of agent Six from the Generator Rex animated series?

Marvel

Book: Hawkeye #13

Description:

Fraction and Aja continue the surprise comic hit of the century! After a lifetime of decisions both good and bad, Clint and Barney Barton have to realize they are brothers and ultimately, they're the only ones who can save one another. I mean if they don't kill each other first. Good luck with that, Barton brothers.

DC Comics

Book: Legends of The Dark Knight #13

Description:

Batman returns to his low-tech roots after years of counting on WayneTech gadgetry in “Return of Batman.” Then, when The Dark Knight takes one of Gotham City’s unluckiest criminals into protective custody, Thirteen forces him to reconsider in “Unlucky 13.”

Book: Batman '66 #4

Description:

Batman and Robin head to 1960s London to take on The Mad Hatter! When the Caped Crusader hears that hats are being stolen from England’s famous Beefeaters, he knows it can only be the work of Jervis Tetch. But something’s also amiss at Big Ben. Could the Clock King be up to his old tricks?

Book: Batman Beyond Universe #3

Description:

Book: Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion #1

Book: Birds of Prey #24

Description:

The Birds are up against impossible odds as Canary must free her suddenly alive husband, Kurt, from Regulus, while Batgirl and Strix infiltrate the Basilisk compound!

Book: Ame-Comi Girls #8

Description:

Three new Ame-Comi Girls go on three separate solo missions to wrap up the series. Big Barda provokes a head-to-head confrontation with Darkseid, White Canary evens the odds in Vegas, and Mera defends Seattle from an attack by her evil half-sister, Black Manta.

Book: Justice League of America's Vibe #8

Description:

Lost in another dimension, Vibe finds a shocking link to his home!
----

That looks like Blue Beetle, maybe he'll finally be able to return home.

Book: Wonder Woman #24

Description:

After the shocking events of issue #23, Wonder Woman’s life has changed forever…but what if she refuses to walk the path the gods—and her mentor—have laid out for her? A strange new era of WONDER WOMAN begins here!
----

I hope this issue will be good because this series is so boring. Wonder Woman deserves a much better series than this.

Aspen Comics

Book: Trish Out of Water #1

Description:

Aspen's most unique 10 for 10 series makes it debut! What would you do if your life was turned upside down-- before it even really started? Trish Powell is about to find out, as she discovers that everything she thought she knew about being a teenager--friends, parents, and most importantly--her own body, is all a lie. When her physical form begins to take on a life of its own, only Trish will be able to explore the true reality of her existence, and what it means to truly be all alone in an age when everyone is watching! Aspen's own Vince Hernandez is joined by the artistic talents of Giuseppe Cafaro to bring to you Aspen's newest hit series, TRISH OUT OF WATER!
