Review:

This was a very intensive look into the life of author Conan Doyle and his most well known character Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes FAQ would be a great addition to the ultimate fans of Sherlock because they will find out some interesting information about Doyle such as to date there is an unfaltering rumor that he may have had something to do with the death of a contributor to one of his most famous stories. As well as the most misquoted yet most popular saying of Sherlock Holmes.

I thought this was interesting but there were times when I found it a bit too wordy. Perhaps a little editing would have kept it from feeling as if it's starting to drone on and become a little boring. There was also a section that I think a history buff would really enjoy but may feel too text book like for many readers.

I think this is a very good reference material and would recommend it to fans of Sherlock Holmes because you get to see what went into Doyle's thinking process as well as a good summary of the Sherlock Holmes stories.
