This scene gives me hope that Lois and Clark will one day be in a relationship together. Even though Lois isn't really physically there it stands to ask why does Clark go out of his way to embrace her if she's technically not really there? It's because he loves her, and despite the fauxmance that they are continuously trying to show us in the new 52, Clark's heart is with Lois. Despite Scott Lobdell's horrible writing in the Superman book, you can see the difference between when he's with Lois and Diana. The interaction and his feelings are forced when he's with Diana as opposed to genuine when he's with Lois.
I really can't wait for that "romance" between Superman and Wonder Woman to be over because it isn't doing any good for either character especially with the way both of them are being written in this relationship.
