Review:

To quote Vampire Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Bored Now". This story is what happens when one pop culture monster meets another. A completely boring yet gory story. Vampires and Zombie, two monsters that are starting to wear thin with too much exposure.

Although I was only able to read and review the first three issues, I found the story to be really boring. The story seemed to focus more on the gory artwork instead of having an engaging story. This story is about how vampires are dealing (or ignoring) the zombie plague that is ravaging throughout the world. And in between laughing at how stupid zombies and humans are, they enjoy bouts of feasting on various humans. But what is going to happen when the zombies diminish or destroy all the humans? What will the vampires do for food?

Even without the other two issues I can already see that the vampires are going to try to stop the zombies if they are ever going to have any more humans to feast on. Maybe within those two issues the story actually picks up. But I'm not intrigued enough to run out to the comic book store to buy them.

I don't mind if the artwork is gory hence the theme of the story but I don't understand why the story was so laborious especially with such a unique plot. I don't think I have ever seen a Vampire vs. Zombie storyline before and that should have made it an awesome read.
