This was a very intense story. It centered around Ororo Munroe (Storm) from when she was a little girl living with her parents to when she was a teenager orphaned and homeless living among a group of other children in the same situation. They were taught to steal as a way to survive.
One day an attempted theft put her and all who know her in harms way. It also revealed her mutant powers to those who would take advantage of it. But it also caught the attention of the young Prince T'Challa (Black Panther) who was in the area.
I thought this was a really interesting and well-written story. Storm's life has never been easy and this story shows just how difficult it was for her.
