Happy belated sixth year anniversary to the Black Panther movie!

This past Friday, February 16th marked the sixth year anniversary of such an amazing movie. Newly crowned King T'Challa didn't really have a chance to get used to the title before having to deal with a rising threat to Wakanda by his cousin Erik Killmonger. When the betrayal and downfall actually happens, you can't help but experience it. Which made T'Challa return so special. As well as Black Panther, Nakia, Shuri and the Dora Milaje's triumphant win in the battle against Erik Kilmonger's Black Panther and the Wakanda deserters. I haven't rewatched this movie in a while, maybe I'll watch it this weekend.

It's Black Panther's Three Year Anniversary!

It's been three years since the Black Panther movie was released in theatres February 16, 2018. It's still one of my favorite movies. And on this anniversary, I want to not only celebrate the groundbreaking movie but the late actor Chadwick Boseman for his unbelievable performance as King T'Challa.

I may not have enough time today to rewatch Black Panther but I plan to watch it sometime this week. Happy Anniversary, Black Panther!

Most Memorable Scene: Captain America, Black Panther, Bucky Barnes and Falcon chase scene from Captain America: Civil War

I found this chase scene from Captain America: Civil War to be memorable because it's so unintentionally funny. From Bucky Barnes, Black Panther and Captain America running at top speed through a tunnel full of moving cars to Cap carjacking a police car with Black Panther catching a ride. Cap running into police cars trying to get rid of his unexpected passenger.

All of this in order to try to catch up with Bucky who is running for his life that is until he stole a motorcycle. And not to mention Falcon trying to get rid of Black Panther, coupled with an explosion, Cap running from yet another car rolling over then tackling the Black Panther which culminated into an awkward arrest for all four.

This entire chase scene is just so ridiculous but in a good and funny way. I really never get tired of seeing it. I know this wasn't meant to be funny but I couldn't help laughing at all the ridiculous things they were all doing.

Fashion Meets Comics: A Black Panther, Nakia and Okoye T-Shirt

As a female comic book fan, it's so hard to find t-shirts because most are in men's or boys sizes. Prior to geek culture becoming mainstream, there were not as many t-shirts in women's, girls or teen girls sizes available. I'm glad things having been changing because I love wearing shirts of my favorite characters.

I like this shirt, it has the Black Panther, Nakia and Okoye on it. I'm really thinking about getting it because it's pretty cool.

Weekend Film: Black Panther

As much as I want to see Black Panther this weekend, it's not going to happen at least not this weekend. Because my local theatre is sold out. Yeah, I know, I waited a little too late to get tickets but that's okay I'm just happy that people are excited to see this movie.

I really can't wait to see this. So until then, I'm going to do my best to avoid spoilers.

I really like this poster it's visually impressive with the Black Panther gazing upon Wakanda while standing on a huge panther statue. The scale of the statue and the view of the city, that's amazing.

Fashion Meets Comics: Black Panther 'Wakanda' Tank Top

It might be freezing outside but spring and summer fashions are already hitting the stores. And I can't wait to start finding some cool pieces. And speaking of cool pieces, I love this Black Panther tank top. From the African inspired print to the little gold studs and not mention the Black Panther image featured throughout makes this feel like a fun summer top.

I may have to get this, it's too cute not to.

Book of Interest: Black Panther: Who is the Black Panther?

It's great that Black Panther is getting a novel, the character has always been a popular but his appearance in Captain America: Civil War brought in new fans. And next year's movie is sure to add even more fans.

I'm really interested in reading this Black Panther novel which is based on a comic book which surprisingly I have not read. The description sounds good and it really makes me want to read it. Since there's two versions of this story, I'm going to try to get both of them.

Black Panther Teaser Trailer

Good Morning!

While I start my day with a beauty treatment (I'm deep conditioning my hair), I figure it's never too late to post this teaser trailer for Black Panther. Every time I watch this trailer, all I can think about is wanting to see the movie and wishing it was out this year instead on next year. I seriously can't wait to see it.

Entertainment Weekly's Black Panther Cover

Entertainment Weekly just released the Black Panther cover for their Comic-Con double issue which will be on newsstands this Friday. And wow, this cover is amazing! Featured on it is Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther and Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia.

Although the movie isn't released until February 16, 2018, I think it's great that it received the cover. I really can't wait to see this movie because the teaser trailer (which I can't believe I didn't post but I will) was unbelievably awesome.

Marvel released the first poster for the Black Panther movie and it's rather impressive. I can't wait to see this movie because after seeing Chadwick Boseman's performance in Captain America: Civil War I was already interested in seeing a Black Panther movie.
