This was a really sweet and heartbreaking coming of age story, 17 years old Raven Walker's love life may not have been that great but she figured she just hadn't found the right guy to really get interested in unlike her two best friends Summer and Chloe. But it wasn't until she went over to Summer's house for Summer's older sister Julia's Valentine Single's Dinner that she met Morgan one of Julia's friends. Raven realized that she had a sort of instant attraction to Morgan but she wasn't quite sure what that meant nor was she ready to understand it either.

When the topic of Raven failing her art history class came up during dinner, Morgan who is a art student at college offered to tutor her. Their friendship grew to the point where Raven found herself questioning her own sexuality and leading to a poignant conversation between her and Morgan.

As their friendship grows to romance, Raven is dealing with the fear of telling her family and friends about this new discovery in her life. She's afraid that they will be disappointed in her as well as hate her. She couldn't bear that.

But with her relationship with Morgan in trouble due to all the secrets will she have the courage to tell those she love who she really is. And will they except her.

Everything Changes is an easy to read emotional and heartfelt story that shows the journey that Raven goes through as she tries to figure out who she is.
