30 Day Geek Chic Challenge, Day #16: Jerrica Benton: Prioritizing

Day #16: Jerrica Benton: Prioritizing

Jerrica Benton makes prioritizing seem so simple, her schedule is jammed packed with things to do. Her days are spent with her running all the business aspects of Starlight Music including being manager for Jem and the Holograms. She also has to figure out ways of stopping Eric Raymond and The Misfits from continuing to sabotage Jem and the Holograms. Her other job starts as soon as she transforms into Jem (thanks to Synergy) and has a whole other lists of things to do such as recording music and touring with the Holograms just to name a few.

Once she's at home Jerrica's duties are not over, she along with the rest of the members of the group are responsible for the care of several foster girls as well as the maintenance of the home they live in. Yes they are international rock stars and they do it all themselves. That's a lot to do and not to mention trying to keep a relationship going with her boyfriend Rio Pacheco as both herself and as Jem.

Jerrica is very busy but she makes time for the all the important things going on in her life.

So how does she do it all? Prioritizing. She has to or she would end up missing a concert date or not showing up for parent/teacher conference. Jerrica doesn't have the luxury of sitting around procrastinating.

Challenge for today: Figure out what's the most important things to do then do it. Don't wait until the last minute then have to rush to complete your task.

Small side note and commentary:

Although this doesn't pertain to the challenge I would like to give a much needed thank you to Christy Marx for creating one of my favorite shows, Jem and the Holograms. Even though she has been shut out of the making of the Jem and the Holograms movie, (seriously who would leave her out of the production process) I just wanted to send a huge thanks to her. As for me, I have no desire to see the Jem movie and will not be going to see it. I'll stick to the animated series.
