Throwback Thursday: What's Your Number? and Baggage Claim Movie Posters

I love both of these movies, they have very similar concepts with both women in the movies thinking they could find love again with one of their exes but all that lead to was nothing but trouble.

The first time I watched What's Your Number? (2011), I couldn't stop laughing, it's so funny. It's a romantic comedy but it's definitely raunchy. It's also based on a book originally titled 20 Times a Lady by Karyn Bosnak (published in 2006), the book has since been reissued with the movie title (I've yet to read the book but I have added it to my wish list).

Movie Description:

Ally Darling (Anna Faris) is realizing she's a little lost in life. Her latest romance has just fizzled out, and she's just been fired from her marketing job. Then she reads an eye-opening magazine article that warns that 96 percent of women who've been with 20 or more lovers are unlikely to find a husband. Determined to turn her life around and prove the article wrong, Ally embarks on a mission to find the perfect mate from among her numerous ex-boyfriends.

Baggage Claim (2013) is another romantic comedy, it's very sweet and funny. Similar to WYN it's also based on a book with the same title by David E. Talbert (published in 2005), again I haven't read the book yet but it is on my wish list.

Movie Description:

Although she has traveled all over the world, flight attendant Montana Moore (Paula Patton) has yet to find a man with whom she wants to settle down. However, her sister's upcoming wedding and pressure from her often-married mother force her to calculate that she has a month to find a fiance of her own. Montana's best friends and fellow flight attendants conspire to help her re-encounter her exes as they travel across the country, but the right man may be closer than she thinks.
