Review:
Since the New 52 started, nearly all the characters have undergone drastic changes or were shelved but for some reason Batman was left unchanged. Even The Court of Owls story line is a continuation of the Gates of Gotham story.
In these first seven issues, Batman found himself digging through Gotham's myths and legends and his own family history. When Bruce Wayne wanted to make sweeping changes to some of Gotham's poorer areas it stirred up a legend of the Court of Owls, something Bruce didn't believe in. However, he found his belief tested when he was targeted by the group.
The writing for this was good but it's the artwork that sort of left me a little annoyed because nearly all the character faces looked a like. At one point you couldn't tell the difference between Bruce Wayne and this up-and-coming mayoral candidate Lincoln March, they have the exact same face.
Anyway that just me nickpicking, because other than that the story is good, it's well written and has a very intricate story.
