A reader left a question on my review for "Bitch Planet vol #1" asking "What girl power comics are there?"
My initial answer to the reader's question was that there are way too many comics to name. Girl Power can mean different things to different people and in regards to comics Girl Power to me features well-written, strong, intelligent, fun and interesting characters.
Below are just a very small list of some of my favorites:
Black Widow vol #1: The Finely Woven Thread
Vixen: Return of the Lion
Velvet volumes #1 and #2
Bandette vol #1: Presto!
Elektra vol #1: Bloodlines
Lois Lane: A Celebration of 75 Years (it has a very good selection of comics)
Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman vol #1
Catwoman vol #1: Trail of the Catwoman
Batgirl vol #1: Batgirl Rising
Batgirl: Year One
Wonder Woman: Who is Wonder Woman
Birds of Prey (pretty much anything published before the New 52 is worth reading)
Gotham City Sirens (the entire series was great)
