Fashion Meets Comics: Iris West (The Flash)

Iris West's fashion style ranges from classic to bohemian topped off with lots of layers. Gone are her easy breezy days working at the coffee shop Jitters and her nights blogging about The Flash. Side note, I love that she was the first to give the superhero a code name and was one of the first to actually start reporting on him.

As an up-and-coming reporter at Central City Picture News, Iris' style has grown into a more polished and professional look. However, since most starting reporter salaries are on the low end of the pay scale, it's takes smart shopping to look good while staying on budget. 

My inspiration for this Fashion Meets Comics was to create three affordable outfits that could easily go from work to play. A great money saver is to buy pieces that can be mixed or matched to create multiple outfits.
