Review:

This is a blood mess of a story but it's funny. When Gertrude first arrived in Fairyland, she figured that it would be a simple little quest to find the key that would take her back home. However, it's been 27 years and she's still trying to find the key. To make matters worse she's stuck as a little girl. Gertrude hasn't aged one little bit on the outside, however on the inside she's about 40 years old. Not aging has taken its toll on her, she's now become this crazed homicidal maniac hacking her way through Fairyland.

Queen Cloudia has had enough of the little murderous pest tormenting the people of Fairyland and wants her gone. Fairyland rules states that the Queen can not harm one that is a guest, no matter how troublesome. However, the Queen has ways of getting around that rule but stopping Gertrude isn't going to be an easy task.

There is all types of crazy mayhem in this story with a few twists or two along the way. I laughed as much as I cringed at what was going on in this story. Gertrude is absolutely horrible which makes this such a fun read. By the end of the story she sort of gets what's coming to her but not in the way she wanted.

Since there is so much murder and mayhem is this story, it goes without saying that it's not for kids. I hope this book makes it onto one of those Best Books of 2016 lists because it's simply hilarious.
