365 Days of Books of Interest: Day #248: Super Weird Heroes: Outrageous But Real!

I don't know why I keep finding these weird comics and this one pretty much takes the cake. As the title states, Super Weird Heroes features a collection of comics showcasing some rather weird super heroes.

After a quick observation, I noticed how much Nature Boy resembled Aqualad Garth (see below)? I did a quick search and found out that Nature Boy was published by Charlton Comics and was actually created first in 1956 by Jerry Siegel (the co-creator of Superman) and drawn by John Buscema among other artists. It does make me wonder how DC Comics was able to create Garth (in 1960) back then without being sued.

Look at that cover, I can see why these characters have been forgotten about over time. As weird and goofy as these characters look, I really would like to read this to see some of the comics they were featured in.
