I firmly believe in the power of giving, be it a simple act of making a donation or giving of our time, it's a great way to make a difference. With November 29th being the National Day of Giving or Giving Tuesday, it's an opportunity to support so many wonderful charities and causes from those that help out locally to those whose reach is nationwide or globally. I do hope that people will remember that giving is not limited to today, many organizations could truly benefit from our generosity on a regular basis especially smaller organizations.
I've provided a small list of organizations that might interest you if you don't already have a cause you support. Also, please remember to look into museums, non-profit theatres, libraries and others that could use our help and donations.
Special Olympics
For Giving Tuesday, each donation will be Tripled Matched and will go to helping the athletics of Special Olympics. To make a donation click here.
