DVD Tuesday: Static Shock: First Season and Fantastic Beast

I can't believe it's taken DC Comics years to release the first season of Static Shock on DVD. It makes me wonder how long it will take them to put out the rest of the series? I pre-ordered it yesterday and it should show up in a few days. Static Shock was a great series, after Virgil Hawkins gained super powers he became the hero Static to protect Dakota City. There were all types of villains from the everyday variety to those with powers but what I found most interesting was the show tackled many social issues. Out of the DC Animated Universe, Static Shock and Batman were the only series that really focused on them.  

I also want to buy Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, I'm going to try to pick it up sometime this week. I love the world of Harry Potter and all the magic but I didn't see it when it was in the theatre because at the time I was still on the fence about seeing it. But now I really want to see it.
